ROSAMOND — November 2, 2026. Rosamond Community Services District has published a 2026 utility rate study to review funding for water and wastewater operations and long-term infrastructure.

Why rate studies occur

The district describes five-year reviews of operating costs, capital improvement needs and the revenue necessary to maintain services. A rate-study model is not the same thing as the amount currently charged to every customer.

How households can compare costs

RCSD provides separate water and sewer schedules covering July 2026 to June 2027, organized by meter size and rate components. Households should review effective dates, usage units and any fixed charges before comparing bills.

Where decisions are made

District board proceedings and notices govern rate adoption under applicable rules. Customers can contact RCSD at 3179 35th Street West or 661-256-3411 to request current rate documents and explain any disputed amount.
